Why visit St Louis Mo?

After visiting St Louis, I wanted to share some of the great things you can find there in case you decide to go on vacation, have a bachelor party or even a wedding there!
Personally, I would love to get married under the Gateway Arch, but there are many other awesome places that are just as good.
Let’s start with the Gateway Arch though.
The Gateway Arch is a huge HUGE stainless steel monument. I think I even remember seeing it on a US Postage stamp.

Another great thing in St Louis? The awesome paddle-wheel boat. It’s supposed to be a replica of what actually traveled the Mississippi and it’s pretty cool to check out. It’s just a replica. Being someone who believes in “other” presences on this Earth, I actually would love to see the real thing, but you can catch those artifacts at some of the local museums.
If you’re a sports person, you’ll love St Louis in the summertime. This is where the Cardinals play and Where Busch Stadium is housed.
And, if you’re more of the adventurous type, you’ll appreciate that even St Louis has a Six Flags! My personal favorite ride is the “Superman” ride.
On our party bus adventure (see my last post), we actually stopped by some great bars in Ballpark Village Street. There are some awesome smoke free dance clubs downtown!
I’m not one to stay in all day so I hooked up with one of my bridesmaid buddies and we hit the Saint Louis Zoo after a night of partying. (Yes, it was rough but her kids loved it!)
I’d say the nicest part of the zoo was the Emerson Zooline Railroad because we got to sit down!
As part of our “before wedding” dinner, we hit up the City Garden and had a nice time at the café’ there. It was really cool. They have a lot of rain forest gardens and modern works of art displayed.
The boys (aka groom and groomsmen) hit up the Chestnut Grove Brewery and got in touch with their German beer rots. Of course, we didn’t hear all the shenanigans but it’s a classy place so we figured it wasn’t too bad.
Overall, St Louis was an awesome trip. I’m actually going to schedule a ghost tour the next time I go because that is something I didn’t get a chance to do! Feel free to advise which tours are best!

Hiding out on a Party Bus.

The other day I found myself completely remembering that I have this blog and thought it was about time for an update!

My initial intentions with this blog were to write a post every day, but clearly that hasn’t happened!

Instead, I’ve been busy living life and working on my vision reading business.  With the summer here, it’s very busy.  As a matter of a fact, it’s been so busy that I actually found myself hiding out on a party bus the other day. Continue reading Hiding out on a Party Bus.

Staying Motivated in 2016

If you have any aspirations for 2016, it is time to get yourself in gear to accomplish your goals. Whether it’s finally to follow your dream career or travel to your dream destination, it is easy to start off in January full steam ahead. However, by February, you are ready to throw in the towel. But it is quite possible to stay motivated until you achieve what you want to do. I have listed a few tips below to keep your mojo flowing.

Things Might not Go as Planned

When you set your mind to do something, it is realistic to keep in the back of your mind that everything might not go as planned. You have to figure in that anything could go wrong to deter you from your goal. Your car could break down, you could lose your job, etc. While you don’t wish for anything like this to happen, the fact of the matter is, it could.

So what are you to do in case it does? Well, there is nothing wrong with updating plans with new ones. Let’s say you plan on going to Italy (your dream vacation), but the money you save up has to be spent on repairing your car after an accident.

While the Italy vacation is off the table, you can take a less expensive getaway. Book yourself a nice room in a five-star hotel and treat yourself to room and spa services. It might not be Italy, but when you are pampered and relaxed, you won’t feel so disappointed.

Stay Focused

In order to stay inspired, you must keep your focus on what you want to accomplish. If you have decided to go back to school to get your degree, start making plans by figuring out what you can afford and which schools offer what you want. For those who are studying a field that is totally different, stay focus on the end game. But you have to realize that attending school as an older adult is totally different than when you did as a young adult.

I know several people who went back to school after the age of 50 to start a second career. Each of them told me that there were many times they questioned their actions. But when they became a doctor, chef, or actress, they knew their hard work wasn’t in vain. The passion they felt for their new career outweighed the doubt and uncertainty. Let your passion be your inspiration for your achievements in the new year.

Goals are Important: Here’s why

Did you ever wonder why people who set goals are more successful than others?

Did you even know that little tidbit?

A Goal is a desired outcome that  a person evisions and hopefully commits to completing as a part of getting the things they want in life.

Deadlines are important parts of goal setting as they give you a sense of urgency to complete the tasks related to accomplishing the goal.

When you plan for your future, you are setting goals.

Goals are important and here’s why:

  1. Goals make the ADD the FDD ….uhm…Focus instead of Attention.  It’s a good thing to have a focus disorder.  Goals give you places to aim towards and targets to hit and if you don’t have a target, then what the heck are you aiming for? You can not possibly accomplish great things if you don’t set goals and aspire to achieve your dreams in the first place.  Just like when you drive, whatever you have your eye on and are focused on is what you will gravitate towards.  Focus on success and goals and you will reap the rewards.
  2. Goals Keep you Motivated and Laser Focused. – I once met a girl from a mlm reviews blog who wasn’t sure why she was writing. She just kept writing and we got to a discussion about goals. She was so focused on hers, that she was on a mission to accomplish any task on any day that would propel her farter along.  Her goal?  To become a millionaire.  Her task?   (She gave it to herself)  Her task was to write no less than 3000 word posts every single day. She refused to give up hope that she could become a millionaire from blogging.  She is still working on it to this day.
  3. Goals give you a way to keep Track. Progress tracking and monitoring is important so that you can feel a sense of accomplishment when you make some traction towards your goal. If you don’t have a basis of comparison or measurement, you will not be able to determine if you have achieved your goals.
  4. Goals are a major helper with procrastination. For instance if you say to yourself: “I’m going to clean out the garage” but you don’t set a date (a real goal would) you will find yourself saying that you need the clean your garage for month or years to come.  However, if  you announce and set a specific date, then you have a better chance of accomplishing it because you set a goal.   Goals by their very nature are begging to be completed. You just have to find them and set your mind to accomplishing them.
  5. Goals are great motivators. They offer you happiness when you achieve them and a sense of accomplishment and pride. These are all essentials when it comes to enjoying life.

The Secret

I just watched the Secret and I couldn’t be even more convinced that having visions and being a visionary is not about being a crazy person walking the streets.

Being a 2016 visionary is seeing the future and then taking the steps (I believe) to make it happen.  It’s not magic…it’s just that I know a secret!

I actually have known this secret for quite some time and I had no idea it was a secret until I watched the movie “The Secret” just the other day.

I was totally engulfed in it because it’s how I life my life (for the most part) and it showed me that I wasn’t along in what I have thought (which makes me feel alienated at times) and as a matter of a fact, it’s a secret that HUGE LARGE names in history have known.

One of my most favorite of all times mentor (from his life experiences and his writings) is Martin Luther King, Jr..

Here’s a quote from the movie:

“Take the first step in Faith.

You Don’t Have To See the Whole Staircase,

Just Take The First Step.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

I don’t remember when it was, but somewhere in my life I learned this.  It might have been when I was young and my father choked me, ran after me with a belt or held a gun to my head (I’m not sure if he did the gun part, but I have a picture that pretty much implements him), killed my pets and threatened to kill my mother.

Maybe it was somewhere in all that “adversity” that I learned to just keep moving (sometimes trudging) through life.

I wasn’t always hopping around with a skip in my step…but there was a marked event where the skip in my step came remarkably into existence and it changed my life forever.

I have to give credit to a man named Sonny Adkins or Sonny Atkins for this.  I was 12 and he was 20 something (I think) and he smiled every day for two weeks at me. He let me run at him and cling to him in the tightest hug you could possibly imagine and he gave me time and showed me how to have fun.  He was a very very patient man.

So why is a 12 year old with a 20 year old?   It was summer camp!

I can’t begin to express my deepest gratitude for Carlisle YMCA’s Camp Thompson.

It changed me from being an introverted, leave me the hell alone and DO NOT get close and I WILL NOT show emotion kid…to one that had a zest for life and an insatiable desire to do well in school…not to please mom (although that was always part of it) but simply because that kid (me) wanted to learn and loved learning and just couldn’t go a day without learning how to soak up more of the wonders that life had.

I discovered nature and the woods and the water and creeks.

I discovered LIFE.

….and I’ve never been the same since!

So what’s all this have to do with Martin Luther KIng Jr.?   A lot.

He knew that living your best life took actions.  He knew that wallowing in the sadness of the world rather than celebrating the “steps” you can still take would lead to something bigger than this world…..AND HE WAS RIGHT.

Since that pivotal first summer camp summer, I have sworn to be insanely positive and happy and hone in on things that matter.  AS a high school kid, I didn’t party…I would go out in front of the local book store on Friday Nights and do sidewalk chalk drawing.

Why?

Because I have this gift of art. ( I have no idea why but it has been a theme in my life since forever….well..since I can remember since summer camp).  I’m talented at it and what I hate, people love.  I don’t get it and as I age…I realize I don’t have to get it….I have to share it.

It makes me happy to know that I can do something I don’t have to struggle at and Im’ naturally talented at and people appreciate and enjoy it.

It’s amazing what the world opens up to you once you open up yourself to see that first step.

I dabbled in photography one year and I made over 10 grand in 3 months part time. I know that’s much but fro my first year?  That’s fantastic.  Money wasn’t my goal. LOVE was my goal.

I wanted to capture it.  I wanted to share it. I wanted people to see the happiness I see in the world and it was magical.

I learned that if you see yourself doing something, you naturally take (and the world and people around you do too) the steps to become what you envision.

So when I saw the Secret.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone (lots of people!) know this secret too.

So why isn’t everyone happy?

Because of Fear.  I’ll talk about Fear next time.  You should always Feel the FEAR….but do IT anyways.   You must find a way to get through it and each time it is easier and easier.

Your life is your movie, you get to write the script. (I came up with that and I was surprised to hear a similar message in The Secret)

Finally!  I’m not alone!

If you are a morning person and look forward to growing and spiritual development (all religions welcome!) please join me as we take an adventure into this new world!  I know that we can achieve our dreams together!

CLEAN YOUR BUCKET. FIX YOUR BUCKET.

Some people say we all have a sixth sense.

As a matter of a fact, being a teacher, I recently had an experience where I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt what was going to occur and it did.

IN an instant of clairvoyance I was able to accurately predict the actions that another would take and it ended up changing my life forever.

Now I know that some of you out there reading this are thinking I’m crazy.

It’s ok. I get that a lot….but…the thing is..(and the only thing that really matters)  is that I’m not.

How do you know that the crazy that you see isn’t my way of protecting myself from you getting too close?  Perhaps it is I that is actually “running the show” so to speak and you’re believing it.

What is crazy?  To know what you are doing and to act upon it?  Or is It crazier to sit back and try to figure out what someone else is up to while your own life runs amuck?

I’d much rather be seen as the crazy person (and know that I am taking strategic steps on a daily basis to better my life) than to be the person who spends his or her time judging someone’s else s actions and being stuck in life.  THAT, my friends, is crazy.

It is insane to not care about yourself more than others.  …for it is ONLY when you TAKE CARE of the body that houses your soul and your soul that nurtures the world that you are able to even remotely come close to helping another being on the planet.

NO ONE wants a used up and washed out rickety and torn bucket.  They don’t work and I’d never try to use it to carry water (lets call water …knowledge).

So we are surround by water (knowledge) in the world of how to be happier and we are offered buckets (of advice) to help us carry this water so that we can accumulate more.  If someone hands you a rickety bucket (their brain /soul/ body not feed and loved properly) You and I both know you wouldn’t take it. You’d seek something better.

So I say to you….DO NOT try to hand someone your rickety bucket until you clean it and love it and that means you have to take care of YOU FIRST.

Once you do that, your world opens up to offer all sorts of wonderful things to it!

So..next time…I’ll tell you about my clairvoyant experience…I’m outta time today.

In the meantime…Think about your bucket and how annoying you must sound to others if you don’t take care of it. :

Who is Bernadette?

{Lourdes in 1858 was an inconspicuous little French town on the Gave de Pau River at the foot of the Pyrenees, with around 4,000 inhabitants.

One of them was a former miller named François Soubirous, who had fallen on hard times. He and his wife Louise had six children.

The eldest was their daughter Marie-Bernarde, known as Bernadette. Desperately poor, the family lived squashed into one small room.

Bernadette spent part of her childhood brought up by an aunt, had little in the way of schooling and was unable to read a book.

Bernadette went back to the grotto seventeen more times and saw the Lady, though no one else ever did. Her story spread round the town like wildfire. The Lady was generally assumed to be the Virgin Mary and more and more townspeople began to go to the grotto with Bernadette, but there was considerable scepticism, from the parish priest among others.

On February 25th the Lady told Bernadette to drink the water of a spring that flowed under her rock. As there seemed to be no spring, Bernadette dug in the ground. Nothing happened, but a day or so afterwards the water started to flow. Bernadette drank it and washed in it and others did the same and the water acquired a reputation for healing properties.

The spring is still flowing at the rate of 32,000 gallons a day, but analysis of the water has found nothing remarkable about it. On February 27th and March 2nd the Lady told Bernadette that the priests should be told to build a chapel at the site and have people come there in processions. Word of what was going on reached the French newspapers and the crowds acompanying Bernadette to the grotto swelled to thousands and had to be controlled by the police.

On the feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary on March 25th, the Lady at last proclaimed her identity. Speaking to Bernadette in the local Lourdes patois, she said ‘I am the Immaculate Conception’. The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception had been proclaimed only a few years before, in 1854.

Bernadette saw her last apparition on July 16th, the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Bernadette was rigorously cross-examined by the local police, but stuck to her story.

The authorities were sceptical and in 1858 the town mayor had {the grotto and the spring|the spring and the grotto} barricaded off, allegedly on grounds of hygiene. In 1862, however, after a thorough enquiry by a Church commission, the local bishop decided that the visions were genuine and approved the cult of Our Lady of Lourdes.

A church was started the same year. Bernadette spent much of the rest of her life in the convent of the Sisters of Charity at Lourdes, where she died in 1879 at the age of thirty-five. She was beatified in 1925 and canonized in 1933. Pilgrims began flocking to Lourdes from all over France and 100,000 people attended the consecration of the church in 1876.

The town was to become one of the Christian world’s most celebrated pilgrimage centres and the numbers increased to such a degree that a second church was begun in 1883. The centenary year of 1958 brought six million pilgrims to Lourdes and the usual annual figure is said to be five million. Many of them are sick and hoping to be healed.

The first cure was reported in 1858 and in 1861 a commission of enquiry pronounced fifteen of a hundred reported cures to be miraculous. Bernadette’s body was exhumed in 1909 and was found ‘incorrupt’. Reburied in a new casket, she was exhumed again in 1919 and the body was still well preserved, though the face was slightly discloured.

She was exhumed yet again in 1925 and reburied in the Chapel of St Bernadette in the Sisters of Charity convent which is visited by huge numbers of pilgrims. – See more at:

Learning to Live and Making Mistakes

Learning to live fully is an art form.  When you start to realize that you are in control? Your whole live will transform.

Because this is a claryvoiant site, I’m struggling at the moment to figure out what I will post here.   I have a website in the makings for this site and I understand that there are people that are use to coming here and seeing something different.

Bernadette’s Vision is still active and going.  Unfortunately, the clairvoyant part of it is on hold.

Once I get things running here, it is my hope that you return to find things to help yourself understand your position in this world and why you are hear reading this post in the first place.

Some of you let your life get out of control.  Some of you are entertaining yourselves and some of you are sad, depressed and searching for answers.  It’s pretty tough to not know what to do with yourself.

Many people try to find out what to do out side of within themselves.  This isn’t the best…but what do I know. I’m guilty of the same stuff.

Bernadette’s vision actually has some history to it and it is that which I will post of next.

I wanted  to make sure to post something at least every week and continue to improve upon my skills to help this site.

One day it will go back to being a clairvoyant site you can order a service from but for now, I’m building it.  Helping it get better and then it will one day go back to a very deserving person.

If you are that person reading this post, I look forward to helping you on your journey.

Stay tuned because your life is about to change with mine.

Currently I am working on some lessons that have taught me to build websites.  Your site happens to be on of them.  I’m also helping a local business owner near me and I hope to help him become a stronger person as well.   I will be sure to document it on this blog.
